Mental and Emotional Problems

Excessive Anger

1- Eat 2 ripe, sweet apples with skin in the morning. Chew the apple properly while eating. Eat for 15 days daily. This will surely calm down anger.

2-Eat 1 amla ka murabba every morning and 1 teaspoon of gulkand with a glass of milk every evening.

Improving Memory

1-A pinch of cinnamon powder(dalchini) mixed with a little honey and taken everynight is good for curing nervous tension and poor memory.

2Memory power can be improved if you make a habit of daily drinking 2 glasses of water before going to bed.

Depression

1-Boil 1/4 tsp powdered green cardamom seeds (choti ilaichi) in thin tea water and drink.

2-Mix 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg (jaiphal) powder with 1 tablespoon freshly extracted amla juice. Take 3 times a day.

Stress (6-3-6 Tension Formula)

1-Try 6-3-6 formula for instant relaxation when you are tense or stressed out. Slowly inhale to the count of 6 and hold your breath for a count of 3 and then exhale to the count of 6. This type of rhythmic breathing can control stress. So inhale first, hold your breath for couple of seconds and then exhale.

2- Drink a cup of black tea (without milk) with juice of 1 lemon squeezed in it every morning. It helps overcome stress.

Insomnia-Sleeplessness

1- Try a cup of hot milk at bed time after a warm bath.

2-Raw onion eaten daily induces sound sleep.

3- Take 1 teaspoonful of honey at bed time.

4- Lie on your back and do deep breathing for about 15 times and then lie on the side. You will easily go to sleep.

Excessive Sleep

1-While studying if you feel too sleepy and your head aches, trying chewing a beetel leaf (paan ka patta) with a clove (laung) in it.
